Scrapping Freebie: Pretty Floral Overlay + 15 Sample Papers

Here’s a belated New Year’s gift to everyone. And since I can’t possibly afford to give all my blog readers avo cigar so I made a brand new freebie pack for download.

I was making a background pattern for one of my blogs and I wanted a floral background. I was experimenting with various color schemes so I decided to make an overlay so I could easily change backgrounds and mix and match to my heart’s content. This is a free pattern I downloaded from PatternCooler.com and I cooked it up on Photoshop, adjusted the levels, removed the background till I had the overlay.

On this freebie pack, I’m including 1 white overlay .png + 1 black overlay .png. I’m also including the PSD file so you can just easily change the color of the flowers. Alternatively, you can also use the PNG overlay then clip a color/texture/pattern on top for variation.

Scrapping Freebie: Blue Christmas PS Patterns & Papers

It’s freebie time! Sorry it took me over a week to post another one. I was actually scrambling to put this together since these are some stuff I made a few months back. Seriously, my graphic design files are in need of symbol barcode scanner just for me to keep track. Oftentimes, I would make something, intending to get back to it then eventually it gets buried in the mess.

Anyway, the freebie today is a set of 5 transparent patterns with a Christmas theme. The design is all white and its has a transparent background. I prefer making patterns this way so, it’ll be much easier to customize and its also great when you want to come up with various looks based on the patterns.

On Photoshop, simply add a background color/pattern/gradient or whatever you fancy, overlay the the pattern and voila, you have a new background.

This freebie comes with 11 free digiscrap background papers in blue-purple shades. I really fancy the color blue right now and I think it’ll be my Christmas theme. But if you’re not much into blues, then use the pattern pack and get happy with colors.

I’d like to credit the following resources I used to make some of the patterns. Christmas brushes by Flina (I used the Christmas tree..), Carr Xmas Dingbats (for the snowman, and the other tree vector) and Ars Grafik for some snowflake brushes.

I’ll be making more fun Christmas patterns {hopefully in red! Lol} so watch out for that.

Scrapping Freebie:Free Halloween Patterns and 20 Digi Scrap Papers

Here’s something nice (i hope!!) for everyone.  Halloween is coming up and I know some of you are looking to make some Halloween home decor, scrapbooks and whatnots, so I made this. I actually made this coz I was planning on making some trick or treat bag tags and wanted a unique background, but as per usual, I found myself making more than one. Don’t you think I deserve pageant medals or perhaps digis-crapping medal? Hahaha!

So what do we have here? 4 Free Photoshop Patterns (.pat) with Halloween theme. All of them are transparent so you can easily add a layer below it and get crazy with the background/color you want. I’m pretty sure you can all come up with awesome design combinations. But just in case you get lazy and want some instant paper/backgrounds, I have thrown in 20 papers as extra. Hope you enjoy using this.

Scrapping Freebie: Coffee Stripes Pattern + Papers

Time for some freebies! And I am still on the pattern making spree. Lol. I know this would never get old with me. And I think I’ll be pattern obsessed for sometime, so till I see patterns as fly sheets, then we’ll be having occasional pattern freebies in here.

I was playing around with Color Schemer one rainy afternoon and I was thinking of coffee. A strong chocolate-y and warm brew of coffee,and I ended up picking out some color schemes related to coffee. What to do with these colors? I figured I should probably make some patterns. Stripe patterns to be exact.

And here’s what I made. 8 Patterns all mocha-brownish, with some tinged with palest pink (coz I was then thinking of cupcakes lol) and one a bit green tinted coz I was thinking of Starbucks coffee cup. The freebie includes

  • 8 .jpg seamless pattern files (for use as backgrounds etc)
  • 1 .pat file for Photoshop (includes all 8 patterns)
  • 8 scrapping papers using the patterns – grunge style. :)

Scrapping Freebie: Flower Pattern Overlay

Here comes my hopefully always regular freebie. I had been patting myself for a job well done looking for a gps tracking device for hubby and treated myself to a day of Photoshop playing. I decided on making another pattern overlay.

This pattern is from Patterncooler.com and I love the spring summer season hence the choice of flowers. It has a hand drawn vibe to it and I just de-saturated everything, turned into all black. Then I made the background transparent. I also included 3 .pat patterns for your use.

After making the pattern overlay, I did play around with it using some summery colors and made 5 background papers for you. Hope you guys enjoy this. All free for CU (commercial) or PU (personal use).

Scrapping Freebie: Cute Papers + .Pat for Photoshop

I should be shot. Lol. I made this a few days ago and was intending to post it here asap. I have a lot of freebies made and I keep forgetting to update this. Sigh. If there’s a gps truck tracking like device for someones forgetful brain then I’d be first in line to buy it.

Cute little digicrapping papers and a .pat (pattern) file for Photoshop! That’s my freebie today. I spent loads of fun time making this. I think I’m getting very obsessed in making patterns and paper so you’ll be seeing a lot of free papers and patterns here.

The pattern for Photoshop comes with one with fixed color background for each paper design, and another with transparent back for you to play with different colors.

I used font dingbats from KevinandAmanda‘s site to design some of the cutesy doodles on the paper. This is free for any use. PU, CU or whatever you wanna use it with.
